How do I choose the optimal shade?
The optimal shade for a natural look should be about 2 shades darker than your hair and also suit your skin type. For fair hair and skin, avoid very dark shades. The results before and after eyebrow tinting will amaze you.
Eyebrow dye tutorial: Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Clean
Clean your eyebrows of grease, dirt, and makeup. For best results, brows should be clean and dry. Brush them into shape.
Step 2: Skin protection
Apply skin protection cream around the eyebrows. Make sure no cream gets onto the hairs.
Step 3: Blend the color
Mix the eyebrow dye with the developer in the small container. Follow the manufacturer’s mixing ratio. Tip: Start applying immediately as the mixture begins to develop right away.
Step 4: Apply
Generously apply the mixed color to the eyebrows, ensuring every hair is covered. Avoid applying too much onto the skin.
Step 5: Application time
Leave the color on for up to 10 minutes, depending on the desired intensity and manufacturer’s instructions. If you have fair hair and skin, reduce the application time.
Step 6: Wash the color off
Remove the dye with a damp cotton pad. For stains that cannot be removed with water, use a color remover.
Notes
Eyebrow dye can cause allergic reactions. Always perform a patch test before the first use. To avoid irritation, don’t pluck your brows right before coloring.
